# Lead Sourcing

> Find targeted Instagram leads automatically

The Lead Sourcing tool scrapes Instagram to find relevant leads for your campaigns. Choose a source, set your filters, and Clianta delivers qualified leads to your group.

## Source types

    Enter a competitor's username and choose your target audience:

    | **Account Followers** | People who follow the competitor              |
    | **Account Following** | Accounts the competitor follows               |
    | **Active Likers**     | Users who liked the competitor's recent posts |
    | **Active Commenters** | Users who commented on recent posts           |

    Enter a hashtag (e.g., `#fitness`) to find users who posted with it.

## Filters

| Filter                   | Description                                                                                                                                                     |
| ------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Follower range**       | Only keep leads within a follower count range (e.g., 500–50,000). Costs extra credits since it requires deeper analysis.                                        |
| **AI-powered filtering** | Describe your ideal lead in plain English (e.g., "Only keep fitness coaches who offer online training"). AI analyzes each lead's bio against your instructions. |

  Start without filters to see what raw results look like. Add filters once you know your ideal lead profile.

## Advanced settings

For **Likers** and **Commenters** sources:

* **Posts to analyze** — How many of the target's recent posts to scan (1–20, default: 5)
* **Max interactions** — Maximum users to find per post (10–200, default: 50)

## Credits

Lead sourcing uses monthly credits that come with your plan:

| Plan  | Monthly credits      |
| ----- | -------------------- |
| Free  | 0 (no lead sourcing) |
| Scale | 2,500                |
| Power | 10,000               |

The estimated credit cost is shown before you launch a job. Costs vary by source type and whether filters are enabled.

## Running a search

    Go to your group's **Leads** tab and open the lead sourcing tool.

  <Step title="Configure your search">
    Choose a source type, set filters, and select how many leads to find.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review and launch">
    Check the estimated credit cost, then click **Launch Lead Machine**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for results">
    The search runs in the background. You'll see a live counter of leads found.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Distribute leads">
    When complete, choose how to assign leads — auto-assign to the group pool, distribute equally, or assign to a specific account.

  You can click **Stop & Save** at any time to keep the leads found so far.

## Automatic filtering

Every search automatically filters out:

* Private accounts (can't receive DMs from non-followers)
* Duplicate leads you already have
* The source account itself

## Manual import

You can also add leads manually:

* **One at a time** — Enter a username directly
* **CSV import** — Upload a file with a list of usernames
