Groups are how you organize your Instagram accounts and run campaigns. Each group has its own message templates, AI persona, schedule, and leads — letting you run completely different outreach strategies side by side.

What a group contains

  • One or more Instagram accounts (profiles)
  • Shared outreach settings and message templates
  • Lead lists assigned to the group
  • A shared AI persona for auto-replies
  • Working hours and daily limits

Why use groups

  • Different campaigns — Run cold outreach with one set of messages and warm follow-ups with another.
  • Different niches — Manage fitness accounts separately from real estate accounts, each with their own messaging and persona.
  • Scale — Distribute leads across multiple accounts automatically.

Creating a group

Click + New Group in the sidebar and give it a name. Then assign accounts to the group.

Group workspace

Each group has five tabs:
TabWhat it shows
AccountsAll Instagram accounts in this group. Click any account to open its individual settings.
LeadsImported leads, lead lists, and the lead sourcing tool.
OutreachMessage templates, follow-ups, AI persona, and auto-reply configuration.
ActivityDM sending log and stats for the group.
SettingsWorking hours, send strategy, daily limits, warmup, and notification settings.

Lead distribution

When you import leads into a group, they enter a shared pool with no account assigned. Clianta assigns leads just-in-time when a profile is ready to send, based on each profile’s remaining daily capacity. You also have manual options:
  • Distribute equally — Round-robin across all accounts in the group
  • Assign to account — Send all leads to one specific account

Settings hierarchy

Settings cascade in three levels:
  1. Global defaults — Apply to everything
  2. Group settings — Override globals for all accounts in the group
  3. Account overrides — Override group settings for a specific account
For example, you might set working hours at the group level but give one account a higher daily DM limit.
  • Working hours
  • Send strategy and daily limit
  • Cold lead warmup (follow, likes before DM)
  • Account warmup (daily reels browsing)
  • Ramp-up program
  • AI follow-ups and persona
  • Auto-reply settings
  • Notification settings
